Meet the Curator
Welcome to Shakti's Curios.
My name is Heather, though my close friends know me as Shakti, a name that has come to represent my lifelong passion for healing, spirituality, curiosity, and the mysteries that connect us all.
Shakti's Curios was born from a love of history, folklore, the paranormal, and the belief that every object carries a story worth preserving. Whether it's a centuries-old artifact, a haunted doll searching for its next caretaker, or a handmade ritual created with intention, I believe the most meaningful experiences invite us to slow down, listen, and wonder.
Outside of Shakti's Curios, I own and operate a health and safety training company, where I've had the privilege of educating individuals and organizations across Texas. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, where I'm working toward becoming a licensed therapist. My professional background has taught me the importance of empathy, ethical practice, critical thinking, and meeting people exactly where they are. Those same values guide every reading, ritual, and interaction I have through Shakti's Curios.
Alongside my professional career, I have spent years studying spirituality, mediumship, energy work, divination, folklore, and paranormal investigation. I am a psychic medium, bone reader (osteomancer), Reiki Master, 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, and paranormal investigator. While these paths may seem different, I see them as complementary—each centered on understanding the human experience, whether through psychology, spirituality, history, or personal transformation.
Outside of my work, I'm first and foremost a wife and mother. One of the most profound experiences of my life was the loss of my son, Bodhi, who was stillborn in 2020. His passing forever changed my understanding of grief, love, and the unseen. That journey deepened my spiritual practice, strengthened my intuition, and inspired me to create a space where mystery is approached with compassion, respect, and an open heart.

Every reading is approached with honesty, integrity, and the belief that spiritual guidance should encourage reflection, personal growth, and empowerment.
